food. knitting. pleading.

I don’t know if everyone knows this but I love to cook. seriously. I especially love to bake and make candy. Lately it has been all about mallows. So far I have made vanilla, mocha, peppermint (dipped in dark chocolate) and lemon. The lemon are my least favorite with mocha and peppermint in a tie for first. I am trying to come up with a clever new flavor like maybe lavender or rosemary…… thoughts?

  On the knitting front I casted on my clapotis and should have it done in about a year at my current knitting rate. I have to finish the leg openings on two soakers and make Miss R this hat……..go go devil bunnies  I am thinking maybe the Grey man needs one too?

  One last thing. I need help figuring out picture posting so if there is anyone out there willing to explain it to me like I have had a recent head injury I would be grateful!

I know I seem like the type of lady that is always out for adventure and before Riv was born, I was……lately I find myself in a new situation. I seem to be getting more and more socially awkward. This year I resolved to get myself out there more and so far so good. I am still afraid that people see me as some sort of angry freak but I am willing to give it a go. I was reading something the other day about “mama guilt” but I find that I have “mama paranoia” I think everyone thinks I am a weeny ;)

  I want to post some more pictures but I am still learning this crazy thing so it’ll have to wait until next time. I did, however have a lovely day with Miss K and R.  Coffee, snacks, thrifting, and 2 whole rows of knitting…. bliss. The only thing was the the Grey-man’s drool has now reached epic proportions.
