For lunches my favorite thing is to make big batches of soup. We’ll eat the soup for dinner that night and the rest will be reserved for lunches during the week.

Breakfast? Eh, can’t really help you, we do oatmeal and smoothies and even that is getting kind of old. Oh well.

Happy Valentine’s Day to you too :)

Lunch is usually hot dog for the bug and leftovers for me. Sometimes soup, or sandwiches. We forage for lunch a lot, and have been known to have toast yogurt and grapes. LOL

Breakfast we rotate through several things. We always have cold cereal in a couple varieties and soy milk on hand. Yogurt, toast, OJ and coffee too. Then some days we do eggs and biscuits/scones and yogurt/fruit. Some days we do oatmeal, fruit, yogurt. Our typical breakfast is cold cereal, toast w/ jam, coffee, oj and yogurt.

    Love you, too!

Breakfast: Steel-cut oats, sometimes. Egg and veggies scrambles, often (usually 1 egg & 2 whites with onion, bell pepper, and whatever else is on hand). Chase usually has a Van’s blueberry waffle, or cold cereal sans milk. I’ve been eating too much toast lately. Need to make buckwheat pancakes again – no wheat flower, and made with agave syrup, so they are low-GI.

Lunch is often leftovers (if Dada didn’t take them all). Salads. Tofu and veggie scramble. Veggies and hummus, if I don’t feel like making something. Too often, lunch is out somewhere awful.

Breakfast is usually cold cereal with milk. OJ to drink. Or avocados sliced onto crackers. Bacon with pancakes. Oatmeal.

For lunch we have leftovers, if there are any left. Or some sort of sandwich. PB and J, tuna, turkey…whatever we have. Cut up veggies or fruit. Hot dogs, something frozen and easy.

breakfast is usually cereal with yogurt and berries, or sauteed veggies and ham, or sometimes just toast with cashew butter and honey with fruit on the side. Breakfast is usually served in 2 segments round here: wake up and feed starving child toast with cb/honey… and then later a hot breaky for all.
lunch can either be left overs or foraging. I make simple pasta for lunch a lot, or wraps (tortillas filled with whatevs). We do a lot of grazing around here.

Our menu this week was as follows:
Sun: Home made pizza and sauteed veggies
Mon: Sausage pasta with goat cheese
    Tue: Burittos with beef/zucchini/corn/carrots
    Wed: Left overs
Thurs: Sausage and sweet potato soup with noodles
Fri: Turkey Tacos with sauteed veggies

Tonight I’m grilling steaks and making sweet mashed potatoes. yum.

We pretty much have bacon and eggs every day, except for the days where I’m too lazy to cook and so I have yogurt with trail mix on it. Lunch is usually last night’s dinner leftovers. Or a salad. Or avacados and hard boiled eggs.
